Hello! I have a question about powers and items that grant powers!
So it seems that if a character owns an item which grants them special powers, when they arrive in the game they will still have the item but it will no longer grant them powers, instead they will need to buy the item's powers back.
Say in canon, a character had an item that granted them powers, but it was destroyed. If one of their motivations for coming to the game was to get the item and the powers it granted them back (though this wouldn't be their sole motivation, their most important motivation is something else), would they arrive in the game finding they now somehow have item again, but it's powerless and they would need to buy the powers back? Or would they need to buy back both the item and the powers it grants?
I ask because for the character I'm thinking of, I would like to take him from the canon point after the item which gives him his powers is destroyed since it would actually make more sense for his most important motivation for coming to the game (which is collecting happiness for a girl he loves, so she'll love him back), but he would still want his powers back since the game can offer that, and I would like to see him be able to earn them back while in the game too!
